BLS CPR AED for Healthcare Providers course certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is designed to teach the skills of CPR for adult, child and infants (including 2-rescuer scenarios and the use of the bag mask), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), to recognize several life-threatening emergencies including stroke and cardiac arrest and to relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

​​The course is video-based with instructor-led discussion and simulation. Students will participate during discussion and learn the necessary skills using hands-on practice with manikins. There are skills test during the training course and a written exam at the end of the course.
